According to "Super Express", the former justice minister and chief prosecutor Zbigniew Ziobro will be summoned to answer questions before the parliamentary commission investigating the use and abuse of Pegasus spyware.
The former minister "disappeared" from public life shortly after the October elections before confirming that he was suffering from cancer:
Magdalena Sroka who heads the Pegasus commission said:
"It was under Ziobro that funds from the Justice Fund were transferred to the CBA [the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau which was the operation centre for the suspect use of Pegasus spyware] and the CBA may only be financed from the state budget. Zbigniew Ziobro as the minister of justice had the Justice Fund at his disposal so responsibility rests with him. He will be summoned by the Pegasus commission and questioned. The date is to be determined."
