"This contract for the new accompanying vehicles for the Langusta launchers is an important day for our security and economy," said Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz.

The contract, worth over PLN 1 billion (around EUR 230 million), will be carried out by a consortium of domestic defense contractors led by Huta Stalowa Wola.

The agreement includes the delivery of command vehicles, ammunition carriers and maintenance vehicles for three rocket artillery divisions equipped with the Langusta system, Polish state news agency PAP reported.

During a press conference after the signing, Kosiniak-Kamysz said that placing such orders with Polish defense companies also strengthens the economy.
