Established on March 17, 2022, the station became the first in Poland to air news bulletins in Ukrainian.

It now broadcasts daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., offering news, practical advice for Ukrainians living in Poland, and cultural and music programming.

In a social media clip, Polish Radio for Ukraine journalist Jana Stepniewicz recalled the station’s first live show: "On March 17, 2022, at 5 p.m. Warsaw time, we went on air with the words, 'You are listening to Polish Radio for Ukraine' That was a historic moment for us."

The station, which has increased its presence on social media and collaborates with Ukrainian broadcasters, is available digitally in Poland as well as worldwide via its online player and the TuneIn app.
