The first set of four vehicles will arrive in Poland in 2022, the minister said in an interview with Polish Radio.
The agreement with Turkey will include a training and logistics package, Błaszczak added, while the drones will be armed with anti-tank missiles.
The Bayraktar TB2, the drone Poland intends to acquire, is an unmanned aerial vehicle that has been used in military operations in Libia, Syria and the region of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The official agreement on the purchase will be signed on Tuesday as part of an official visit to Turkey by Poland’s President Andrzej Duda.
