The figures were estimated by researchers at the Kyiv School of Economics, Poland’s PAP state news agency reported on Monday.

According to the estimate, at least 4,431 residential buildings have been damaged, destroyed, or seized during the first month of the Russian invasion, between February 24 and March 24.

A similar fate befell 92 factories and warehouses and 378 schools, the British broadcaster BBC reported.

In addition, 12 airports have been destroyed, damaged, or captured. The same happened to seven thermal or hydroelectric power plants, according to the study, as quoted by the BBC.

Monday is day 33 of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
