The change in visa-free travel rules was announced during President Andrzej Duda's recent visit to Shanghai. The economic aspect is crucial, aiming to reduce the complications that Polish entrepreneurs previously faced when traveling to China.

"It's known that when businessmen come, they usually handle matters within a few days. Obtaining these visas was cumbersome," explained the president during his visit.

"For me, every visa-free move signifies a certain freedom, trust, and good relations between countries. It promotes building interpersonal relationships and also boosts tourism," assured Andrzej Duda.

Visa-free access to China expanded for Polish citizens

All Polish citizens with a valid passport will be able to enter China visa-free from any country worldwide. However, this does not apply to individuals holding temporary passports.

There are no limits on the number of entries into China, but each visa-free stay cannot exceed 15 days (except in Hainan Province, where the visa-free period for Poles has been extended to 30 days).

Upon arrival in China, fingerprints will be collected from all Polish citizens aged 14 to 70. More details can be found on the website of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
