As announced by the U.S. Embassy in Poland, the condolence book will be available at the embassy in Warsaw, located at Al. Ujazdowskie 29/31, on Thursday, January 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and on Friday, January 3, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

“We invite everyone to join us in honoring the memory of President Carter,” the embassy stated in its announcement.

The funeral of the former U.S. President is scheduled for next Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.

That day has been designated as a national day of mourning in the United States by President Joe Biden, who—at President Carter's own request—will deliver the eulogy during the ceremony.
