NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte to visit Warsaw

On Wednesday morning, the head of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization will meet with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Their talks will focus on the current situation in Europe, military and hybrid threats from Russia, and NATO's role as the foundation of security.

They will also discuss negotiations to halt Russian aggression in Ukraine. Another key topic will be Poland’s plan to allocate €7 billion ($7.5 billion) from the EU recovery fund to defense, as part of a newly proposed Security and Defense Fund.
