The Polish head of state arrived in New York on Saturday, accompanied by his wife, Marta Nawrocka.

Nawrocki's plane landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport ahead of his participation in the UN General Assembly.

The Polish leader will take part in the UNGA’s 80th session and deliver his speech during the opening day of the General Debate on Tuesday afternoon.

His visit will run through Wednesday and include meetings with other world leaders as well as US political and business figures.

According to presidential aide Marcin Przydacz, Nawrocki is expected to meet US investors active in Poland and representatives of defence contractors supplying equipment to the Polish military. A meeting with US President Donald Trump is also anticipated.

Before his UN engagements, Nawrocki will travel to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, known as the "American Czestochowa," to attend a Mass, unveil a plaque honoring former Prime Minister Jan Olszewski and present awards to Polish community activists.

In his UN address, Nawrocki plans to focus on global security, regional threats posed by Russia and Poland’s vision for the future of international order.

He will also participate in a high-level Security Council debate on challenges linked to artificial intelligence.
