During the meeting, the minister thanked foreign diplomats for their work and dedication and wished them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, according to an official statement shared on social media.

Many Polish embassies and consulates abroad are holding festive events for the Polish diaspora ahead of the holiday season.

Invitations have already been sent to Polish communities in Malaysia and Brunei, among others.

This week, on Friday, 12 December 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kuala Lumpur, in Southeast Asia, will host a festive gathering, including the distribution of Santa's gifts for children.

A similar event, featuring communal creation of Christmas decorations, performances, and refreshments, is scheduled by the Polish Embassy in Tokyo on Sunday, 14 December.

In light of recent earthquake reports, the embassy, citing the Japan Meteorological Agency, issued a warning of increased seismic activity in northern Japan.
