King Charles III and Queen Camilla have been crowned at Wesminster Abbey. The Polish Presidential couple were in attendance at the coronation.
The coronation was followed by the procession to Buckingham Palace:
The late Queen Elizabeth II said last year that she wished Camilla, then Duchess of Cornwall, to be known as Queen Consort when Charles became King.
Besides President Duda and the Polish First Lady, the coronation was watched by around 100 heads of state and dignitaries.
The ceremony for Charles III included a procession of faith leaders and those who "reflect the diversity of the United Kingdom and its peoples". Charles is well known as an advocate for an inclusive attitude to British society, famously expressing the wish to be the "Defender of Faith" not only the "Defender of the Faith" - to acknowledge the diversity of faiths in Britain and across the world.
