Spokesman for the operational command of Poland's armed forces, lieutenant colonel Jacek Goryszewski told Polish Radio that reports sent to Reuters and AFP news agencies by Belarusian authorities are not true.
"The information provided by Ukrainian media are lies, and a provocation," Goryszewski said, adding that "all of the radiolocation logs on the helicopter prove that there was no breach."
"Poland respects all the treaties and regulation on inviolability of borders," the spokesman also said.
Poland's Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Paweł Jabłoński said statements made by Belarusian services "are rarely based on truth, and they serve a political goal."
He also stated that Belarus treats Poland as a hostile nation.
The Reuters news agency reported on Friday evening, that the authorities in Minsk "summoned a Polish diplomat to protest what it said was a Polish military helicopter's violation of its border on Friday."
Belarusian media on Friday informed that a Polish helicopter flew 1200 meters into Belarusian airspace at low altitued and then returned to Poland.
