Poland's Radosław Sikorski and NATO's Jens Stoltenberg met on the sidelines of the 2024 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday.

Their talks focused on "strengthening NATO's eastern flank in the face of Russian aggression against Ukraine," according to officials.

Poland's top diplomat and NATO chief also discussed the "effective implementation of the decisions of the Vilnius Summit" of July 2023, reporters were told.

Earlier in the day, Polish President Andrzej Duda also met with Stoltenberg in Davos, and the two discussed Poland's national security as well as regional security, according to news outlets.

The Polish head of state also held talks with Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky, reaffirming Warsaw's support for Kyiv and calling for further western aid to Ukraine, including military assistance, public broadcaster Polish Radio's polskieradio24.pl website reported.
