The first attack occurred late on Saturday, followed by another identical incident on Sunday night. Although no injuries were reported, the embassy's building sustained damage, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
Lithuanian police said they were actively seeking an unidentified assailant, while the extent of the damage inflicted upon the embassy premises was under evaluation.
Under Lithuanian law, the individual behind the attacks could face penalties including fines or imprisonment for up to five years.
Officials from the Vilnius District Main Police Station confirmed that measures were being considered to enhance the protection of the Russian diplomatic facility.
