In a comment to the Polish state news agency PAP, Dr. Olgierd Annusewicz from the University of Warsaw stated that in the 2025 presidential elections in Poland, economic factors and the level of political conflict among Polish politicians will be far more significant than the situation surrounding American voting.

“I don’t want to downplay the elections in America, but I believe their influence on Polish voters is minimal compared to other factors,” the expert said. He added that the choice made by American citizens will not have strategic importance for either the conservative politicians of the Law and Justice Party (PiS) or the current ruling representatives of the Civic Coalition (KO).

As noted by the scholar, the average voter in Poland will base their decision on their financial situation rather than the outcomes of U.S. elections, although the results could still affect the overall sense of security in the region.

Regarding the upcoming presidential elections in Poland, Annusewicz emphasized that the most important factors may be the candidates themselves, their experience in defense matters, and whether their potential victory would support the current government's actions in contrast to the previous PiS administration.
