The two leaders discussed Polish-American relations, including military cooperation. Sikorski also thanked Secretary Rubio for President Trump’s statement urging Putin to end the war, emphasizing the U.S. effort to achieve a swift and less painful resolution.

Poland's top diplomat described the development as “a good omen for Polish-American friendship.”

Tammy Bruce, spokesperson for the U.S. State Department, stated that Secretary Rubio emphasized the importance of the U.S.-Poland relationship for transatlantic peace and prosperity, noting his discussion with FM Sikorski about “deepening our ties moving forward across a wide range of mutual interests, including defense cooperation and energy security.”
