Directed by Piotr Domalewski, the film will chronicle the life of Kuroń and his wife, Grażyna. Arkadiusz Jakubik and Magdalena Popławska have been cast in the lead roles, according to Filmweb.pl.
Set in the 1980s, the movie will highlight Kuroń's pivotal role in Poland's fight for freedom against the Communist regime. The narrative will also explore his personal life, particularly his relationship with Grażyna.
A former dissident, Kuroń was instrumental in the formation of the Solidarity trade union and played a central role in the downfall of Poland's Communist regime. His legacy continues to serve as a symbol of resistance against totalitarianism and remains a cornerstone of Poland’s transition to democracy.
