According to Commissioner Karina Kamińska from the Gdańsk Regional Police Headquarters, security preparations for the event in northern Poland have been underway for months.

Special safety measures have been introduced in the Tricity area today and tomorrow, with an increased police presence, including riot control and counterterrorism units.

For these two days, the Minister of Internal Affairs has imposed a ban on carrying firearms, with violations punishable by a fine or arrest.

The main events, including a visit from European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, will take place tomorrow at the European Solidarity Center.
