Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, announced that funds from the National Recovery Plan (KPO), financed by the EU Recovery Fund, will be allocated to housing programs, which she considers a priority.

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz emphasized the importance of developing energy-efficient housing and thermomodernizing buildings. Poland plans to support both social housing and access to home ownership on commercial terms.

Minister Pełczyńska-Nałęcz discussed the details of this issue on Polish Radio.

Krzysztof Paszyk, Minister of Development and Technology, confirmed that KPO funds will be used for housing loan programs, with a significant amount of money potentially available next year.

The 2025 budget draft includes 4.28 billion PLN for housing, with some funds held in reserve. Paszyk added that specifics on the fund allocation should be finalized next week.

The #naStart program aims to assist people who do not want to live in rental or municipal housing by reducing loan interest rates from the current 8% to 4-5%.
