Located in Sękocin Nowy, near Warsaw, this marks the company’s latest effort to extend vehicle lifespans, cut emissions, and offer more affordable, high-quality used cars.

Industrial-scale restoration

  • Operations: In a 2,200 m² space, more than 30 workers can handle about 300 cars a month (3,600 per year) in the initial phase, with plans to reach 5,000 vehicles annually next year. Over 600 vehicles can be stored on-site, awaiting refurbishment.
  • Scope of work: Each vehicle undergoes a 159-point inspection, including body and paint analysis, interior detailing, and mechanical checks. Renault prioritizes cost-effective “smart repairs,” fixing rather than replacing parts to reduce waste and expenses.

Following restoration, cars receive a two-year plus one-year warranty (up to 80,000 km). The process requires five days for a full mechanical overhaul, interior detailing, and body refinishing—extended by two days if repainting is necessary. Post-renewal, the car’s “residual value” is intended to approach that of a new model, offering competitive alternatives for buyers with tighter budgets.

Renault expanding across Poland

Renault Group, which has run similar refurbishing factories in France, Spain, and Turkey, aims to process vehicles of all powertrains—from electric and hybrid to gasoline and diesel. Having already reconditioned over 50,000 units globally, Renault plans two additional centers in Poland:

  • 2025: A second factory in the south for 2,000 commercial vans annually
  • 2026: A third plant in the north, adding capacity for another 2,000 vehicles
