There are many Filipino workers in Poland's central Mazowieckie region and in the northwestern city of Szczecin, according to Gremi Personal.
Most of them prefer long-term employment over temporary jobs, it said. After five years of legal employment in Poland, they can apply for permanent residency, further increasing their commitment to their employers.
Their strong soft skills, such as politeness, empathy and teamwork, make them well-suited not only for production but also for customer service, healthcare and various other sectors.
The number of Filipino workers in Poland has increased significantly in recent years, with nearly 30,000 work permits issued in 2023, a sharp rise from just 7,500 in 2020.
In 2025, Poland is projected to face a shortage of around 1.5 million workers, with the greatest needs in logistics, retail, construction, food processing and agriculture.
