Data cited by the Polish business daily Puls Biznesu (PB) show that Poland is also among the countries where the number of ultra-wealthy people is expected to grow particularly quickly over the next five years.
Bloomberg expects this increase to exceed 60 percent.
Other countries with rapidly growing numbers of ultra-wealthy people include Romania, Saudi Arabia and Singapore, but Poland stands out most strongly, according to PB.
It notes that Poland started with a relatively small number of very wealthy people, meaning that an increase of more than 100 percent is easier to achieve than in countries where the ultra-wealthy population is already much larger.
PB says the increase is partly explained by the strengthening of the złoty against the US dollar and higher inflation than in many other countries.
It also points to real economic changes, including rapid economic growth and an increase in the value of Polish companies.
