The latest reading is a notch higher than a flash estimate issued by the office in mid-February.
Investment increased by 4.9 percent, private consumption grew by 3.3 percent, and domestic demand rose by 2.2 percent in Poland in the final quarter of last year, the Central Statistical Office reported.
The Polish economy expanded by 4 percent in 2019 as a whole, according to an estimate released by the state-run statistics agency in late January.
Poland’s largest bank, PKO BP, has revised downward its forecast for the country’s economic growth this year from 3.7 percent to 3.5 percent.
Poland’s prime minister said last month that, despite a global slowdown, the country’s economy was likely to grow around 3.3 percent this year and next.
Meanwhile, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) warned on Monday that the coronavirus outbreak could plunge the global economy into its worst downturn since 2009.
The Polish economy expanded by 5.1 percent in 2018, according to the country's Central Statistical Office.
