The Czech Republic boasted the lowest jobless rate in the bloc in November, at 2.2 percent, followed by the Netherlands, with 2.7 percent, according to the Eurostat agency.
Poland had the third-lowest rate among member states in November, ahead of Germany, with 3.2 percent, the agency's data showed.
Meanwhile, Spain had the highest seasonally-adjusted jobless rate in the EU, at 14.1 percent, while Greek unemployment was the second-highest at 13.4 percent.
Eurostat reported that the EU average for November was 6.5 percent, down from 6.7 percent in October.
Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS), which uses a different methodology, reported at the end of last month that the Polish jobless rate dropped to 5.4 percent in November, from 5.5 percent in October.
