The reading was in line with an earlier estimate by the government.
There were around 796,000 people without jobs across the nation at the end of October, compared with 801,700 a month earlier, according to the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) office.
The state-run statistics office has revised upward its estimates of Poland's monthly jobless figures since December last year, state news agency PAP has reported.
According to the European Union’s Eurostat statistics agency, which uses a different methodology, unemployment in Poland was a modest 2.6 percent in September, unchanged from August and the second-lowest rate in the 27-nation bloc.
