The annual exhibition, which is scheduled for September 5 to 8, will feature military equipment displayed by exhibitors from countries including the United States, Canada, Britain, Germany and Ukraine.
South Korean weaponry recently purchased by Poland, including K2 tanks, K9 gun howitzers and FA-50 fighter jets, will take centre stage, according to organizers.
Poland’s Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak said at the end of last month that Warsaw would deepen military cooperation with Seoul by manufacturing South Korean hardware in domestic factories.
First held in 1993, the International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce is now in its 31st year. It is billed as one of the largest events of its kind in the world.
