Meanwhile, average wages in Poland's corporate sector in September increased by 10.3 percent compared with the same month a year earlier, the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency said.
The average gross Polish monthly wage last month was PLN 7,379.88 (EUR 1,660, USD 1,750), according to the statistical office.
The figures are for companies with more than nine employees.
Family and Social Policy Minister Marlena Maląg this month estimated that Poland's unemployment rate stayed flat at 5 percent in September, unchanged from August.
There were fewer than 800,000 people without jobs across the nation at the end of September, down by around 5,000 from a month earlier, according to the government.
