There were around 763,700 people without jobs across the nation at the end of June, down by 12,900 from a month earlier, according to the government.
The state-run Statistics Poland agency (GUS) reported last month that the Polish jobless rate had dropped to 5 percent in May, from 5.1 percent in April.
Meanwhile, the European Union’s Eurostat statistics agency, which uses a different methodology, estimated earlier this month that unemployment in Poland stood at 3 percent in May, marking the second-lowest rate in the 27-nation bloc.
