Polish State Railways (PKP) estimate the losses at at least 880 million PLN (over 206 million EUR), although the full extent of the damage costs is not yet known, as reported by the Polish state news agency PAP.

The still-flooded infrastructure requires detailed inspections, and the amount of losses may increase as assessments of the damage are made.

Additional support will be necessary for the railway infrastructure managers to restore it to its pre-flood condition as quickly as possible.

The entities managing these areas include PKP PLK, PKP SA, and the Lower Silesian Road and Railway Authority.
