According to the Polish state news agency PAP, in the event of a conflict, the Czech Republic, while supporting the free world and NATO, could find itself in a precarious situation if China decides to disable the equipment supplied to it.
For this reason, Czech security services previously opposed the involvement of the Russian company Rosatom in the construction of a nuclear power plant.
In 2018, warnings were issued against using devices from Huawei and ZTE, which was crucial for protecting critical infrastructure.
Koudelka emphasized that the private sector should pay attention to these issues, as security should take precedence over economic interests, which could prove unprofitable in the future.
