A Letter from Poland - the Great Night
This week's Letter takes a look at Polish and English Easter practices. The Polish word for Easter is "Wielkanoc" or "Great Night" referring to the time of the resurrection of Jesus, while the English word comes from a pagan religious tradition. We look at the way religions and traditions change and merge over time and place.
