Poland's Gdańsk received 92,283 votes, surpassing last year’s winning score in Budapest by 35%.
Event organizers confirmed this is the highest vote count in the competition's history and marks the first time Gdańsk and Poland have earned this prestigious title.
Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, the mayor of Gdańsk, celebrated the city’s victory in being named the Best Christmas Market in Europe, expressing heartfelt gratitude to everyone who voted and contributed to the celebration’s enchanting atmosphere.
Through social media, she thanked supporters for their record-breaking involvement, emphasizing the importance of this recognition for this pleace.
