The service, which went live on Monday, is available via satellite on the Belsat channel and online through YouTube and Facebook.
It is staffed by Georgian journalists, with reports produced in a Warsaw newsroom and supplemented by material filmed in Georgia.
VT Sakartvelo News is part of TVP's Vot Tak foreign media unit, which has rapidly expanded in recent months, launching a Romanian-language service in February and an Armenian-language one, VT Hayastan News, in March.
TVP says the services are designed to support democratic processes in South Caucasus countries and provide balanced, freely available information in line with public broadcasting standards.
"We do not take sides in the political disputes of the countries we broadcast to," said Jerzy Sałodki, head of the Vot Tak editorial team.
The unit points to strong audience figures as evidence of demand.
Its Moldovan service has attracted 1.9 million online users and 5.5 million views since early February, while the Armenian service quickly drew a rebroadcast offer from one of the country's most popular radio stations.
TVP says it plans further expansion, with a Kazakh-language service in development.
The project, backed by the Polish foreign ministry, ultimately aims to cover all countries in the European Union's Eastern Partnership programme.
