Other popular Christmas presents are candy and clothes, followed by money, alcohol and books, according to a survey by Polish online auction site Allegro.
Meanwhile, electronic gadgets are what Poles would most like to get for Christmas, the survey shows, as cited by state news agency PAP.
At the opposite end of the spectrum are socks, which top the list of unwanted gifts among Poles, followed by small interior decoration items and toiletries, the survey found.
A total of 1,330 internet users were polled for the study, Poland’s PAP news agency reported.
The average Pole will spend PLN 482 (EUR 112, USD 125) on Christmas gifts this year, PLN 31 more than a year ago, the survey also found.
