Half of Poles are likely to head to a shopping centre before Christmas, and they will be particularly on the look out for bargains, according to the survey.
"For almost half of Poles, price reductions as part of Black Friday, which fell this year on November 29, were not sufficient motivation to buy Christmas presents. Most of us will hunt for bargains later," the study said.
Cosmetics and toiletries, toys and books are the most popular presents picked by people in Poland, the survey by the CBRE company found.
The study added that 72 percent of women and 54 percent of men decide to buy bargain-price presents.
A separate survey has found that the average Polish family will spend PLN 1,521 (EUR 355, USD 390) on Christmas this year.
