In a message posted on social media by the Polish President's Office, First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda encouraged Poles to take part in the charity event, which will be held by the Association of Spouses of Heads of Diplomatic Missions (SHOM) in Warsaw on Sunday, December 4.
"The Association of Spouses of Heads of Diplomatic Missions (SHOM) is holding the International Charity Fair in Warsaw for the 15th time," Kornhauser-Duda said in the video message.
She added: "I would like to encourage you to be part of this event. During last year's fair, funds were raised for dozens of Polish charities that support children, seniors and sick and disabled people."
Kornhauser-Duda described the annual event as "a meeting of people of good will who, in the holiday season, show solidarity with people suffering and struggling with life's problems."
"Let us remember about those who are waiting for our gesture of support and a helping hand," she also said.
She encouraged Poles "to open hearts and show sensitivity to the needs of others."
Kornhauser-Duda added that the upcoming event "offers a wide range of food products and handicrafts from around the world" that can be bought to serve as "interesting and original gifts" for "our relatives and friends."
The fair will take place on Sunday at Warsaw's Torwar arena.
"Let's help the SHOM association help others," Kornhauser-Duda said.
