During the ceremony at the Presidential Palace, the Szczecin-based Small Feet Foundation, which assists pregnant women in financial difficulty, and the Christmas Charity for Children, run by Catholic Caritas Poland, the Evangelical Diaconia, and the Orthodox Eleos, were also recognized for their work.
Kamiński, the founder of a foundation Life Plan Academy that has long supported children and young people in overcoming obstacles and building mental resilience, was awarded for his leadership in social initiatives.
An entrepreneur with a background in philosophy and physics, he uses artificial intelligence and humanoid robots in his work to assist people affected by lifestyle diseases.
"I am just the tip of the iceberg," said Kamiński, acknowledging the collective effort of his team and the inspiration he drew from philosophy professors.
"A person has as much as they give to others," he emphasized. His foundation supports people in need worldwide, from Rwanda in Africa to the United States, Poland, and Ukraine.
The "For the Common Good" Awards were presented for the ninth time. The initiative aims to promote civic projects that help others. This year, 91 candidates were nominated for the award.
