Matches will be available to viewers along with extensive analysis and commentary on the broadcaster’s TVP 1, TVP 2 and TVP Sport channels, CEO Jacek Kurski told a news conference in Warsaw on Thursday.
Fans will also be able to watch games online and through a special app on their smartphones, TVP bosses said.
The Polish public broadcaster is readying a team of more than 40 commentators and experts to comment on matches, among them former players, coaches and officials.
According to TVP executives, the upcoming championships are a major sporting event, but also a technological challenge for the public broadcaster, which aims to offer top picture quality and four soundtrack options to viewers: Polish, English, “no commentary,” and audio description for blind and visually impaired people.
The English-language soundtrack will feature voices known from the FIFA video game series, including Sky Sports commentator Martin Tyler and former Arsenal and Leicester player Alan Smith, according to the sport.tvp.pl website.
The Euro 2020 tournament kicks off on June 11 and runs until July 11 in 11 cities across Europe, including London, Rome, Bucharest, Amsterdam, Munich and St. Petersburg.
The Polish team takes on Slovakia, Spain and Sweden in the group stage of the tournament.
TVP is Poland’s only official broadcaster of the event.
