Tour de Pologne is amongst the worldwide elite of cycling events. At the same time, it's one of the oldest and most prestigious annual international sports events in Poland. Modeled after the popular Tour de France, and first held in the 1920s, it weathered all the storms of Polish history and rose back to prominence in the 2000s.
The 80th edition of the Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour promises to be a demanding and exciting race. Traditionally, seven stages will be played, including three mountain stages and a time trial. Polish Radio will follow the competition closely this year - and Radio Poland’s Marcin Matuszewski presents the details in this audio report.
