Tennis: Poland’s Zieliński lifts Mexican Open doubles trophy

The duo defeated the Mexican-British pairing of Santiago González and Neal Skupski 6-3, 6-2 in the championship match on Saturday to claim their fourth title together and first of the season.

The clash at the hard-court tournament in Acapulco lasted 69 minutes, news outlets reported.

Zieliński and Nys in November defended their men’s doubles title at the Moselle Open tournament in the French city of Metz.

In 2022, in Metz they secured their first win as a doubles team.
