Less than seven months before the tournament kicks off in June next year, Poland's southern Silesia region has released an official promotional video inviting handball fans to explore its attractions.
This marks yet another occasion where top-tier international handball will be played in southern Poland, regional officials said.
Last year, Katowice, the capital of the Silesia region, served as one of the host cities for the 2023 Men's World Championship.
Katowice also welcomed top handball players during the 2016 European Men's Championship, officials have noted.
Earlier this year, the organisers unveiled the logo for next year's global tournament in Poland.
The Polish Handball Association noted at the time that Poland has hosted several high-profile handball tournaments over the past decade or so.
"In recent years, Poland has hosted the European junior championships in 2013 and 2014, the Men's Euro 2016 tournament, the Women's Under-18 World Championship in 2018, and the Men's World Championship in 2023," the national handball governing body said in a statement in May.
"In 2025, Poland will host the Men's U21 World Championship, followed by the Women's Euro 2026 tournament a year later, and the Women's World Championship in 2031," the statement added.
The 2025 Men's Under-21 Handball World Championship will be held in southern Poland from June 18 to 29.
The tournament will feature 32 teams of young players from around the world, including Poland’s squad, coached by Bartosz Jurecki.
