"Someone pinch me! @ARadwanska just joined my team!" – this is the message Polish tennis player Magda Linette shared with her fans on social media.
Radwańska will serve as a second coach and consultant, with the collaboration set to last until the end of the clay court season, lasting 8-10 weeks.
The Polish player Agnieszka Radwańska retired from professional tennis in 2018, with 20 career titles, though she never won a Grand Slam, her best result being a runner-up finish at Wimbledon in 2012. Her biggest career victory was the 2015 WTA Finals title, defeating Petra Kvitova.
Linette, who had a mixed season in 2024, will look to improve with the guidance of Radwańska, after winning the WTA 250 title in Prague earlier that year.
