The Polish world No. 2, who is defending her title in Doha, dispatched Rybakina 6-2, 7-5 in the quarterfinals of the women’s singles on Thursday.
The second-seeded Polish player, who triumphed in Doha in 2022, 2023 and 2024, will now face Latvia's Jelena Ostapenko for a place in the final.
Świątek had a bye in the first round and defeated Greece's Maria Sakkari 6-3, 6-2 in the round of 32. She overcame the Czech Republic's Linda Nosková 6-7, 6-4, 6-4 after a close battle in the last 16.
