Team Poland is headed by sprinter Ewa Swoboda and includes top-performing hurdlers Pia Skrzyszowska and Jakub Szymański.
Other standout entrants on the team include Olympic champion Justyna Święty-Ersetic in the women's 400 metres and 2023 European indoor silver medalist Piotr Lisek in the men's pole vault.
Some other Polish names to watch in Apeldoorn include Weronika Lizakowska in the women's 1500 metres, Anna Wielgosz in the women’s 800m, and Konrad Bukowiecki in the men's shot put.
More than 600 competitors from 46 countries are expected to take part in the 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships, which run in Apeldoorn until Sunday.
Poland won seven medals, four silver and three bronze, at the 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Istanbul.
