Held on the initiative of the European Commission, the forum brought together EU Commissioner for Sport Glenn Micallef, members of the European Parliament, sports ministers, and global sports leaders on Thursday.

According to Kraków Mayor Aleksander Miszalski, the event aims to assess the implementation of the EU’s strategy for sport.

The forum features expert panels focused on anti-doping policies, anti-corruption measures in sports, and anti-discrimination efforts.

Among those attending the opening were Commissioner Micallef and Poland’s Minister of Sport and Tourism, Sławomir Nitras, who also took part in a warm-up match with Mayor Miszalski as part of the event's focus on physical fitness.
