Another Pole, Dawid Kubacki, finished eighth in the Lillehammer competition, which was part of this season’s ski-jumping World Cup circuit and also marked the fifth leg of the Raw Air series of events in Norway.
This year’s Raw Air tournament began at the end of last week and runs until March 15 on four different hills across Norway: in Oslo, Lillehammer, Trondheim, and Vikersund. The tournament comprises a total of 16 rounds of jumps from individual events, team events and qualifications.
Halfway through the Raw Air tournament, with a total tally of 1,028.8 points, Poland’s Stoch is on top of the leaderboard, 0.7 points ahead of second-placed Stephan Leyhe of Germany.
The 2019/2020 ski-jumping World Cup circuit features a total of 36 competitions, including six team events, in various countries.
