The match kicks off at 8:10 p.m. in the southwestern town of Legnica after players and club staff tested negative for the coronavirus.

A day later first-division outfit Stal Mielec will play top-flight side Lech Poznań in another Polish Cup quarterfinal without spectators before the country’s premier league restarts at the weekend.

Lechia Gdańsk won last season’s Polish Cup final after beating Jagiellonia Białystok 1-0 on May 2, 2019.

Poland’s Ekstraklasa top league is set to resume with empty stadiums on Friday.
