Kozdryk managed a best lift of 101 kilograms, while Nigeria’s Latifat Tijani secured the gold with 107 kilograms.
China’s Cui The took the silver with a lift of 102 kilograms.
Kozdryk's third-place finish was the third medal for Team Poland at the Tokyo Paralympics.
On Wednesday, the first day of competition in the Japanese capital, visually impaired track cyclist Marcin Polak and his sighted pilot Michał Ładosz won bronze for Poland, and wheelchair fencer Adrian Castro added a silver.
Team Poland is competing in 12 sports, including para-athletics, table tennis, swimming, weightlifting and kayaking in Tokyo.
Poland won 39 medals and finished 10th in the overall medal standings at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Polish Radio is a media partner of the Polish team for the Tokyo Paralympics, which run until September 5.
