The Pole, who is currently ranked world No. 2 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), dispatched American player Cori Gauff 6-3, 6-1 in their round-of-16 match on Monday.
Świątek on Friday clinched becoming the new world number one in women's tennis after she saw off Viktorija Golubic of Switzerland 6-2, 6-0 in the second round of the women's singles at the Miami Open.
The 20-year-old will officially take over as the new WTA world No. 1 when the tournament ends and the rankings are updated on April 4, becoming the first Polish player to hold that distinction.
Świątek earlier this month won the BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament at Indian Wells, California, claiming her fifth career singles title.
The 2022 Miami Open began on March 21 and runs until April 3.
