Tennis: Poland’s Świątek defends Italian Open title
Poland’s world No. 1 Iga Świątek defended her women's singles title at the Italian Open tennis tournament in Rome, beating Tunisia's Ons Jabeur 6-2, 6-2 in the final on Sunday.

The Polish top seed earned her 28th consecutive victory and fifth WTA trophy in a row.
Świątek earlier saw off Belarusian player Aryna Sabalenka 6-2, 6-1 in the semifinals in the Italian capital on Saturday.
The 20-year-old Pole last month won the Stuttgart Open tournament in Germany, claiming her seventh career singles title.
